National geochemical reconnaissance releases NGR 41-1978 AND 42-1978; Regional stream sediment and water geochemical reconnaissance data, northern British Columbia, NTS 104O and P
These files were originally listed in the May, 1979 circular and released on June 8, 1979.
The revision to these files is the inclusion of uranium determinations in stream waters. The new data are available in the form of a text of field observations and analytical and statistical data. The sample location maps were available in the original release together with the other stream sediment and water data.
The revised files will be placed on Open File for inspection September 23, 1980 from 1300 h EDT (and equivalent local times) at all Geological Survey libraries and at the office of the Resident Geologist, Department of Indian and Northern Affairs, 200 Range Road, Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Y1A 3V1.
There will be a simultaneous open file release by the British Columbia Department of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources at Room 418, Douglas Building, Victoria and the Gold Commissioner's Office, Vancouver, British Columbia. Copies of the revised text will be available for sale at the Victoria and Vancouver locations.
Copies of the revised text and/or the original maps may also be obtained at the user's expense from Campbell Reproductions, 880 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario, K1R 6K7. The field observations and analytical data including the new data are also available in digital form at the user's expense from the Director, Computer Science Centre, Department of Energy, Mines and Resources, 588 Booth Street, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0E8.
