A geochemical orientation survey for uranium; MacNicol, Tustin, Bridges and Docker Townships (52F/13), Kenora district, Ontario by W.B. Coker

          This file presents the results of a geochemical orientation survey carried out to determine the distribution and dispersion patterns of uranium, the base metals, and associated elements in bedrock, surficial overburden and lake and stream waters and sediments in an area covering MacNicol, Tustin, Bridges and Docker Townships, Kenora District (52F/13), Ontario.

          Analytical data and field observations are presented in the form of computer listings (lake sediments, lake waters, stream sediments, stream waters, bedrock and surficial overburden) accompanied by sample location maps. A description of the field and analytical techniques along with an interpretation of the geochemistry of the bedrock, surficial overburden and lake and stream water and sediment data (including distribution maps of U and base metals in lake waters and lake sediments, summary statistical data, and element correlations) are given.

          This file is available for inspection at all the libraries of the Geological Survey of Canada and also at the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Ontario Geological Survey, Mines Library, 8th Floor, 77 Grenville Street, Toronto, Ontario.
