Airborne Radioactivity Maps and Profiles Nova Scotia

Cross-country reconnaissance profiles of radioactivity data obtained with the Geological Suvey of Canada high sensitivity airborne gamma-ray spectrometer system during the fall of 1976 are being released for areas in Nova Scotia. The release comprises 600 line km of profiles at a scale of 1:250 000, showing total count, equivalent uranium and thorium, and potassium concentrations, and eU/eTh, eU/K, and eTh/K ratios.

The release will be available for inspection from 1:00 p.m. E.S.T., December 21, 1977 (and equivalent local times at: the libraries of the Geological Suvey of Canada; Public Service Centre, Ministry of Natural Resources, Room 6404, Whitney Block, Queen’s Park, Toronto, Ontario; Nova Scotia Department of Mines, 1690 Hollis Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia
