Airborne Gamma-Ray Spectrometry Data, Ontario-Quebec

High sensitivity airborne gamma-ray spectrometry data obtained by the GSC for the Pembroke map sheet (NTS 31F) in Ontario and Quebec are presented as contour maps at a scale of 1:250 000 showing total count, potassium, equivalent uranium and equivalent thorium concentrations, and eU/eTh, eU/K and eTh/K ratios; and as profiles of the seven parameters for each of the flight lines, also at a scale of 1:250 000. Flight line spacing for this survey was 5 km.

The maps and profiles will be placed on Open File for inspection from 1:00 p.m. E.D.T. June 1, 1976 (and equivalent local times) at the libraries of the Geological Suvey of Canada in Ottawa, Vancouver and Calgary.

White print copies of the Pembroke survey results will be available at the user’s expense from K.G. Campbell Quickprint, 880 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1H 6K7. Microfiche copies of the maps and profiles will be available at a later data at the GSC offices.
