Project Metadata

This project studies a unique site on the Cape Breton Highlands at which a till derived soil is underlain by saprolite developed in granite gneiss.  The properties of the site are assessed in terms of pedology and geology and discussed in relation to published information on some other exposures of saprolite.  An interpretation of the study can be found in Canadian Journal of Earth Sciences v.20.
