Project Description
Four areas of the Eastern Shore Region, three gold districts and an area of contact between the Halifax and Goldenville formations, were sampled in a till geochemistry study. The major purpose of the project is to aid gold and base metal exploration in Nova Scotia by describing geochemical dispersal patterns in till derived from known metal occurrences in Meguma Group rocks. The study is published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 1321.
