Eastern Nova Scotia vegetation survey, 1987
Project Description
Balsam fir twigs, red spruce twigs, shrub alder and spruce bark were collected in 1987 in eastern Nova Scotia in the Meguma terrane. This reconnaissance survey was conducted to help assess the value of biogeochemical studies to mineral exploration in eastern Canada. The data are published in GSC Open File 2002 and as a chapter in Prospecting in Areas of Glaciated Terrain – 1988.
