Project Description
NGR lake sediment and water surveys were carried out in the Melville Lake Region of Eastern Labrador in 1977. The total survey area was 73 000 km2. The data were published as GSC Open Files 509 (NTS 13B), 510 (13F), 511 (13G), 512 (3E, 13H) and 513 (13I, J, O).

Canada-Newfoundland Agreement on a Uranium Reconnaissance Program; Canada-Newfoundland Development Subsidiary Agreement (1976-1982); Fisheries and Environment Canada provided funds for the determination of mercury.
