Manitouwadge Reanalysis Project
Project Description
Soil and till samples from geochemical orientation surveys carried out in 1968 in the Manitouwadge area were reanalyzed to take advantage of improved analytical techniques. Mercury analyses were then done at a later date. The purpose of studying sediments in this area was to provide information about Quaternary geology that would assist drift prospecting.
The data are published in GSC Open File 3562 and GSC Current Research 1995-E and 1997-C. The mercury data are found in GSC Open File 3790.
