NATMAP Slave Province Project, Quaternary geology component, 1992-1993
Project Description
As part of the Slave Province NATMAP, Quaternary field mapping and till sampling were carried out in 1992 and 1993, following a brief reconnaissance survey in 1992. The till samples were taken to characterize the composition of the glacial materials and to establish regional background values of various elements. The data were published in GSC Open Files 2867 and 3120 (final report) for NTS 76C; in GSC Open Files 2868 and 3205 (NTS 76D), GSC Open Files 2908 and 3206 (NTS 86A) and GSC Open File 2668 (76M).
