Project Description
The Hodges Hill area of central Newfoundland is a region of considerable mineral exploration interest, with potential for gold and base metals. Drift prospecting methods are effective in the area and previous regional sampling programmes conducted by the Newfoundland Geological Survey have proved a useful adjunct to lake sediment geochemistry. A regional till sampling project conducted in 1999 complements other regional surveys in the area. The data are published Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Mines and Energy Open File NFLD/2704.
