Northeastern Newfoundland till sampling survey carried out in 2002
Project Description
Till samples were collected in the White Bay area of northeastern Newfoundland in 2002. Gold exploration has been ongoing in this area from 1889 to present. The objective of the project was to identify areas of possible mineralization in more detail than that shown by regional lake sediment geochemistry. The data are published in Newfoundland Department of Mines and Energy Open File NFLD 2823.
