The 1992 survey of the Skagway (NTS 104M) map sheet, and production of Open File BC RGS 37, were managed by the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources (BCMEMPR) and were funded by the Corporate Resource Inventory Initiative (CRII).
P.F Matysek and W. Jackaman coordinated the operational activities of contract and BCMEMPR staff.

The Yakutat (NTS 114O) and Tatshenshini River (NTS 114P) map sheets were surveyed at the same time as the Skagway (NTS 104M) map sheet.
A preliminary report containing field and analytical data covering the Tatshenshini-Alsek Wilderness Park was released in 1995. The full data set was made available in 2002.
