The regional lake surveys for central Labrador (NTS 13L) were conducted during the summers of 1978, 1982 and 1983.

This report presents analytical and statistical data for gold and 25 other elements obtained by re-analyzing lake sediments from 903 sites, collected at an average density of one sample per 15.3 km². Original analytical data selected from Open Files 557 (published 1979 ) and 998 (published 1984) for 13 or 15 elements plus loss-on-ignition in sediments, and uranium, fluoride, and pH values in concomitant waters are also included in this report.

Other information:

Due to the numerous sample collection and analysis years, those elements that were duplicated between 1978 and 1982/83 (and analyzed by the same methods) will appear as 1978 in the adjacent table.

Elements such as Cd which were analysed in 1982 and 1983 will apear as 1982.
