The regional lake and stream survey for southern New Brunswick (parts of NTS 21G and 21H) was conducted during the summer of 1987.
This report presents analytical and statistical data for 20 elements plus loss-on-ignition in lake sediments, collected at an average density of one sample per 10.1 km², and stream sediments, collected at an average density of one sample per 3.3 km². Uranium, fluoride and pH values in concomitant waters are also included in this report.

The sample digestion procedures used to determine Zn, Cu, Pb, Ni, Co, Ag, Mn, Fe, Cd and As in lakes and streams by AAS were different.
Gold was usually determined on 10-gram sample, allowing a detection limit of 1 ppb; sample weights less than 10 grams resulted in a detection limit of 2 ppb. Sample weights less that 5 grams resulted in a detection limit of 4 ppb.
