The regional lake and stream sediment and water survey of the Smithers, British Columbia map sheet (NTS 93L) was conducted during the summer of 1986 .

This report presents analytical and statistical data for 20 elements (plus loss-on-ignition) in stream sediments from 850 sample sites, collected at an average density of one sample per 16 km². Stream sediment listings include data for W, Ba and Sn. In lake sediments, a total of 17 elements (plus loss-on-ignition) are listed from 243 lake sites, collected at an average density of one sample per 56 km². Uranium, fluoride, and pH values in waters from stream and lake sites are also included in this report.
