The regional lake sediment and water survey for northern Ontario (NTS 41J) was conducted during the summer of 1986.

This report presents analytical and statistical data for 18 variables in lake sediments from 1,000 sample sites, collected at an average density of one sample per 14.3 km². This report includes values for uranium, fluoride, pH, alkalinity, calcium and magnesium in waters.
