The regional lake sediment and water survey in northeastern Saskatchewan (NTS 64L and the eastern quarter of 64M) was conducted during the summer of 1977.

This report presents analytical and statistical data for 13 variables in lake sediments from 2,019 sample sites, collected at an average density of one sample per 6.7 km². Uranium, fluoride, and pH values in waters from these sites are included in this report.

The reconnaissance surveys were undertaken by the Geological Survey of Canada in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Department of Mineral Resources under the terms of the Canada - Saskatchewan Agreement on a Uranium Reconnaissance Program. Fisheries and Environment Canada provided funds for the determination of mercury.
