Survey Description

During the summer of 1985, helicopter and truck-supported stream sediment and water sampling was carried out in southern Yukon.  Samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 13 km 2 throughout the approximately 12 200 km 2 survey area.  Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples.  The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 1218.

This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
