Survey Description


Approximately 210 basal till samples were collected in the Codys area, southern New Brunswick.  No sampling year was given.  The data are published in New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Energy Map Plates 2001-7A and 2001-7B.

Quantities Analysed:

<0.063 mm fraction analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn and Ag by ICP-MS.

Geochem Maps Available:

Data values are plotted on the map at each sample site.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 21H/13, the Codys map area, southern New Brunswick.  It is bordered to the northwest by Grand Lake.  The cities of Cambridge-Narrows, Berwick and Coles Island lie within the study area and the Trans-Canada Highway runs east-west through the northern part of the study area.
