Survey Description


In the early 1990s (somewhere between 1993 and 1995), till samples were collected from 31 sites in the Salmon River map area and 17 sites in the western part of the Alma map area in southeastern New Brunswick.  The samples were analysed at the same time as samples from the Waterford (21H/11) map area (Munn, 1995).

The data are part of a compilation published in New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development Open File OF 2021-1.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 21H/6 (Salmon River) in southeastern New Brunswick.  It is bounded to the southeast by the Bay of Fundy.

  • Covers some of the western part of NTS 21H/10 (Alma) in southeastern New Brunswick.  It is bounded to the south by the Bay of Fundy.
