Survey Description


In 1969, a soil sampling survey on 12 claims was conducted by SOQUEM, on the west part of St-André-de-Ristigouche property, Quebec.  The area covers 900 acres.  A total of 1006 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.007 km2and analysed for Cu, Zn, Ag (atomic absorption technique).

The data are published in GM-24357, Department of Natural Resources, 1969.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 22B/2 (Oak-Bay).  The Saint-André property is located in Restigouche township, Bonaventure county.  It includes twelve claims (mostly the west part), in the southwestern part of Gaspé area.
