Till sampling survey, Rankin Inlet area, Kivalliq Region, Nunavut, Shear Minerals Ltd., 2004.

Between July 10th and July 28th, 2004, a total of 653 till samples were collected from the Fish Camp prospecting permits just west of Rankin Inlet in the Kivalliq Region of central Nunavut Territory. The permits cover parts of NTS map sheets 55J/12, 55K/3, 4, 9, 12, 13, 55M/1-2, and 55L/1-3, 5-6, 8-10 and 15-16. They are located approximately 149 km west-southwest of Rankin Inlet. The samples were collected as part of the Churchill Diamond Project, a joint venture between Shear Minerals Ltd., Stornoway Diamond Corp. and BHP Billiton Diamonds Inc. Sampling was conducted by APEX Geosciences Ltd. and Shear Minerals Ltd. on behalf of the joint venture. The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 084828.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers parts of NTS map sheets 55J/12, 55K/3, 4, 9, 12, 13, 55M/1-2, and 55L/1-3, 5-6, 8-10 and 15-16 just west of Rankin Inlet in the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut Territory. The area is located approximately 149 km west-southwest of Rankin Inlet.
