Till sampling survey, Baker Lake area, Nunavut, NTS 55L/13-14, 55M/3-7, 10-15, Shear Minerals Ltd., 2004.

During July and August of 2004, a total of 518 till samples were collected from the Baker Lake permits in the Kivalliq Region of central Nunavut Territory. The permits cover parts of NTS map sheets 55L/13-14 and 55M/3-7 and 10-15, just south and east of Baker Lake. The samples were collected as part of the Churchill Diamond Project, a joint venture between Shear Minerals Ltd., Stornoway Diamond Corp. and BHP Billiton Diamonds Inc. Sampling was conducted by APEX Geosciences Ltd. and Shear Minerals Ltd. on behalf of the joint venture. The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 084827.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers parts of NTS map sheets 55L/13-14, and 55M/3-7 and 10-15 just south of Baker Lake in the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut Territory. The area lies within the Baker Lake prospecting permits, which are centred on: 63°46.8’ Latitude and 94°29.25’ Longitude.
