Till sampling survey, southeastern Melville Peninsula, Nunavut, NTS 46O, 46P, Stornoway Diamond Corp., 2004.

Between July 28th and August 11th, 2004, 45 till samples were collectd from the East South Aviat property in the southeastern portion of the Melville Peninsula in central Nunavut Territory. The property covers parts of NTS map sheets 46O and 46P, and is located approximately 200 km south southeast of Igloolik, NU and 200 km northeast of Repulse Bay, NU, which lies between the Hudson Bay and the northwestern half of Baffin island. The samples were collected as part of an exploration program conducted by APEX Geoscience Ltd. on behalf of Stornoway Diamond Corp. The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 084822.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers part of NTS 46O/8 (untitled) on the southeastern portion of the Melville Peninsula, which lies between Hudson Bay and the northwestern half of Baffin Island in central Nunavut Territory. The area is located approximately 215 km south-southwest of the hamlet of Igloolik and 190 km northeast of the hamlet of Repulse Bay.
Covers parts of NTS 46P/12 (untitled), /13 (McCaig Bay) and parts of 46O/9 (untitled), /16 (Naulingniarvik Lake) on the southeastern portion of the Melville Peninsula, in central Nunavut. It is located southwest of Parry Bay, part of Foxe Basin.
