Survey Description
Between June 15 th and July 28 th, 2004, a total of 368 till samples were collected from the Sceptre Property in the Kikerk and Napaktulik Lake areas of southwest Nunavut. The sampled area is located about 120 km southeast of Kugluktuk and about 600 km north of Yellowknife. It covers parts of NTS map sheets 86I/13, 14, and 86 P/3, and 4. The samples were collected by Stornoway Diamond Corp. with the intention of delineating positive results from previous years’ sampling. The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 084804.
