Survey Description
Between September 13 th and 19 th, 2003, two beach sand samples were collected from the Bath 1 Mineral Claim, located in the District of Mackenzie along the west coast of Bathurst Inlet in south-west Nunavut. The claim is situated 22 km southeast of the village of Bathurst Inlet, on NTS map sheets 76J/11 and 12.
This six-day grassroots exploration program was conducted by APEX Geoscience Ltd. for Kinross Gold Corp. Its aim was to assess the mineral potential of the Bath 1 Mineral Claim and obtain an understanding of the regional geological setting of the area.
