Survey Description
In early June, 1999, Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. collected a total of 294 till samples from frost boils on the OK and WC Claims in southwest Nunavut. The survey area lies within NTS map sheets 86I/07, 08, 10, and 11, some 450 km north of Yellowknife.
The survey consisted of follow up till sampling work aimed at evaluating the likelihood of kimberlite pipes within the claims areas.
