Survey Description


A till and beach sediment sampling survey was carried out in 2000-2002 on the Coronation Diamond property located approximately 500 km northeast of Yellowknife.  The survey was conducted by Apex Geoscience Ltd., on behalf of Shear Minerals Ltd.

A total of 38 till samples were collected in 2000, and sent to the Saskatchewan Research Council for processing. Selected grains were sent to R.L. Barnett for microprobe confirmation. Seven beach sediment samples were collected in 2002 and sent for processing at the Saskatchewan Research Council. These samples have not been sent for microprobe confirmation at time of report.
