Till, Esker, Indicator minerals
Till and esker sampling survey, Contwoyto Lake area, 76L/2, 3,Nunavut, Ashton Mining of Canada, 1999-2000.

During the 2000 field season a total of 14 heavy mineral samples were collected to follow up anomalous results on the BEL property, which is located approximately 265 km southeast of Yellowknife.
The samples were collected from eskers, mudboils and other surficial features representative of glacial deposition. A heavy mineral concentration was isolated at Ashton Mining of Canada’s North Vancouver Laboratory.

Covers part of NTS 76L/2 (Kathawachaga Lake), 3 (Belanger Rapids), the BEL property in western Nunauvt. It is located approximately 265 km southeast of Kugluktuk.
