Survey Description

In 2001 and 2002, Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. (on behalf of Tahera) collected 59 till samples from mud boils in a helicopter assisted survey of the NAP claims, located approximately 450 km north of Yellowknife in western Nunavut.  Samples were collected as fences perpendicular to ice flow, or as infill to prior sampling.  The samples were processed and picked for kimberlitic indicator grains at Kennecott’s heavy mineral laboratory in Thunder Bay, ON.

The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 084685.
