Survey Description

In 1992, orientation till sampling was conducted over geophysically determined anomalies in the Hammer Lake area, approximately 500 km northeast of Yellowknife.  A total of 13 till samples were collected spaced at 100 meter intervals on two lines 280 m apart.  The samples were processed for gold content, grain counts and grain morphology.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 76G/9 10, the Boot Lake property in central Nunavut.  It is located approximately 500 km northeast of Yellowknife.
