Survey Description

This 1993 survey targeted specific areas on the OLD 1-5 and ICE 116-125 mineral claims.  These areas were identified by a detailed review of available data for the Angikuni Lake area which is located approximately 720 km east of Yellowknife on NTS sheets 65J/3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12.  The samples were collected by Taiga Consultants Ltd. on behalf of Leeward Capital Corp.

Rock samples weighing 70 kg were taken for analysis of indicator minerals.  Several till samples were collected from mud boils and eskers in areas where kimberlite pipes were expected.  These samples were sent to TerraMin Research Labs in Calgary, AB.

Samples have been SEM checked and data are available.

The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 083413.
