Survey Description
During 1993 and 1994, Caledonia Mining Corporation undertook an exploration program in the Coppermine River/Coronation Gulf region, in an area between Great Bear Lake and Coronation Gulf on NTS sheets 86J/9-16, 86K/9-16, 86M/9-16, 86N/1-16, 86O/1-16, and 86P/1-12. A total of 226 samples were collected from mudboils and eskers with helicopter support. The sample sites were chosen based on their position relative to ice flow direction. The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 083651.
