Survey Description


The purpose of this sampling program was to fill in the gaps of reconnaissance surveys already completed and to define the location and extent of suspected mineral trains.  Between June 1996 and June 1997, 188 till samples were collected from the UI Property, which is approximately 450 km north of Yellowknife.  The samples were spaced approximately 1 km apart and were collected and processed by Canamera Geological Ltd.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 86H/15 and 16 (Rockinghorse Lake), the UI property, in northwestern Nunavut.  It is located approximately 450 km northeast of Yellowknife in the Rockinghorse Lake area.
