During July and August 2007, a total of 155 samples were collected by helicopter supported traverses on eastern and central Southampton Island:
|Sample Type*||Number of Samples|
|till (15-25 kg)||135|
|*collected for heavy mineral concentrate analyses|
A second 2-3 kg till sample was collected at 123 of the till sites for geochemical analysis. The till samples were collected mainly from frost-boils.
The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 6078.
