Alluvial heavy minerals
Stream sediment sampling, NTS 21E/3, 4, 5, 6, 12, Estrie region, Quebec, 1984
(requires an Internet connection)
During the summer of 1984, heavy mineral preconcentrates were extracted from stream sediments by running stream gravels through a portable suction dredge in the Estrie area, Quebec. A total of 312 sites were sampled over an area of approximately 4500 km2. The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 1145.
