(requires an Internet connection)
Stream sediments and waters were collected from 729 sites in northwest New Brunswick during the summer of 1997. Sample sites were distributed over the 3,880 km2 survey area at an average of one sample per 3.5 km2. Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples. The data are published in GSC Open File 3617/New Brunswick DNRE Open File Report 98-15 in July 1998. Previously unreleased elements were published in a revised edition of OFR 98-15 in September 1998. Maps of some elements from this survey were released in GSC Open File 3820.
This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
