NGR stream sediment and water survey, NTS 115P, 105M (N½), central Yukon, 1987

During the summer of 1987, helicopter and truck-supported stream sediment and water sampling was carried out in central Yukon. Samples were collected at an average density of one sample per 13 km2 throughout the 16,600 km2 survey area. Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples. The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 1650. Data from the north half of 105M were re-released with data collected in 1988 from the southern half as GSC Open File 1962. The samples from NTS 105M were subsequently analysed for Bi and Se and the new data released in GSC Open File 3685.
This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers all of NTS 115P and the northern half of 105M in central Yukon. It is bounded to the south by latitude 63° on 115P and latitude 63.48° on 105M. It is bounded to the north by latitude 64°, to the west by 138° Wand to the east by 134° W.
