Survey Description

During the summer of 1986, helicopter, truck and boat supported sample collection was carried out in central British Columbia.  Stream sediment and water samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 16 km 2 throughout the 14,420 km 2 survey area.  Lake sediment and water samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 56 km 2.  Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples.  The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 1361 and British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources Regional Geochemical Survey RGS-17.

This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
