Survey Description

Helicopter and 4-wheel truck-supported sample collection was carried out in southeast British Columbia in the summer of 1977.  Stream sediment and water samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 13 km 2.  Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples.  The data were published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 514 in 1978.  The samples were re-analysed for tin and tungsten and published in a revised version of Open File 514 in 1979.  The samples were reanalysed by INAA and republished in 1991 with the original data as Open File 2355/BC RGS 30.

This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
