Survey Description


A helicopter-supported lake sediment and water infill survey was carried out in the fall of 1991 in the Snow Lake area, Manitoba.  Three hundred and forty six sites were sampled at an average density of one sample per 3.87 km2 throughout the 1,340 square kilometres covered by the survey.  Duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples.  The data are published in GSC Open File 3015.

This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
