The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers the northern half of NTS 76O (Rideout Island) and the southwest quadrant of NTS 77A (Elu Inlet) in western Nunavut. It is bounded to the southwest by Bathurst Inlet. Melville Sound cuts through the north part of the study area.
