Survey Description
380 till samples and 200 glaciolacustrine clay samples collected between 1983-1989 in the Timiskaming area of Ontario and Quebec. The data are published in GSC Bulletin 476.
Data Description:
Paper report.
Quantities Analysed:
<0.002 mm fraction by AAS after HNO 3-HCl digestion for 14 elements, by colorimetric method for As, by fluorometric method for U, and by CV-AAS after HNO 3-H 2SO 4-HCl-KMnO 4 for Hg.
Geochem Maps Available:
Proportional symbol maps show the distribution of elements.
Other Analyses:
Grain size; carbonate (<0.063 mm by LECO); Agterberg limits.
