Till, Indicator minerals
Till sampling survey, NTS 31I/16, Montauban area, southern Quebec, 1988.

In autumn of 1988, basal till sampling was carried out by Sial Internationale in the Montauban area, southern Quebec. A total of 86 samples were collected close to access roads using a vibrasonic drill and a mechanical augur. Forty-nine (49) samples were processed for heavy minerals.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers part of NTS 31I/16 (Notre-Dame-de-Montauban), in the Montauban area, southern Quebec. The city of Trois-Rivières is located approximately 50 km southwest of the southern edge of the study area and Lac aux Sables is located in the northwest corner of the study area.
