In 1980, a soil sampling survey was conducted on reserved land #4, Lac-Gauvin. The area covers 5 km2. A total of 625 samples from horizon A0were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.004 km2. Soil was sampled at 50 m intervals on all lines
Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mo, Mn, Li et As.
