During the summer of 1986, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted by the firm Minorex Inc., in the Beauce-Estrie area, Quebec. The area covers 7000 km2. A total of 11,316 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.6 km2. The < 177 micron fraction was analyzed for:
|Cu, Zn, Pb, Ni, Co, Mn, Mo||atomic absorption (AAS)|
|Au, As, Br, Cs, Sb, Se, Tm, U, W||neutron activation (INAA)|
|Loss on ignition (LOI)|
The data are published in Open File MB 89-42, Department of Energy and Resources, 1990. Data from Open File DPV-822 are also included in this document.
