Stream sediment sampling survey, NTS 32D/11, Gallichan area, Palmarolle township, Abitibi region, 1982.

During the summer of 1982, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Gallichan area, Quebec. The area covers 40 km2. A total of 112 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.4 km2. Samples were analyzed for:
|Ag, As, Co, Cu, Hg, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Zn||atomic absorption (AAS)|
The data are published in Open File DP 86-20, Department of Energy and Resources, 1987. Results of the 1982 sampling are published with the 1973 sampling (DPV-501/502, DPV-840) and 1977 sampling (MB 85-28).

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers part of NTS 32D/11 (Palmarolle). The Gallichan area is situated in the southeastern part of Saint-Laurent de Gallichan, Palmarolle township. It is bounded by latitudes 48°33' and 48°38' and longitudes 79°09' and 79°19'.
