During the summers of 1978 and 1982, a soil sampling survey was conducted in the Amos area, Quebec. The area covers 1000 km2. A total of 247 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 4.0 km2. Samples were analyzed for:

Covers part of NTS 32D/9 (Amos). The Amos area is situated in the Abitibi region. It is bounded by latitudes 48°30' and 48°45' and longitudes 78° and 78°30'.
