Survey Description
During the summer of 1981, a soil sampling survey was conducted in the Guettard township, Quebec. The area covers 6 km 2. A total of 107 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.06 km 2. Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Ag, Fe, Li, Mo, Hg (atomic absorption), U (paper chromatography) and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File MB 85-68, Department of Energy and Resources, 1986.

Covers NTS 32G/14 (Lac des Orignaux). The southern part of the Guettard township is located in the Nord-du-Québec region. It is bounded by latitudes 49°53'10" and 49°54'20" and longitudes 75°25' and 75°28'.
